The Royal Gorge Bridge
The Royal Gorge is a large canyon outside of Canon City, that has a man-made suspension
bridge that was built in the 1930's. The distance from the bridge to the
Arkansas River below is approximately 1,300 feet! |
A great way to experience the Royal Gorge is to walk across the bridge. |
The Royal Gorge Park has an incline railway that leads to the bottom of the gorge. This is a photo looking up towards the bridge. |
