Scenic Skyline Drive in Canon City, Colorado
 |
In the Spring of 2005, I rode my bicycle up Skyline Drive in Canon City, Colorado. It is a very scenic drive that is very popular among tourists seeking views of the Rocky Mountains, and locals seeking some relaxation and/or inspiration. Skyline Drive is just two miles west of the Canon City center on Highway 50. This sign is clearly marked. |

The road was actually built by prisoners in Canon City about 80 years ago. There are quite a few narrow part of the road as seen in the adjacent photo. |

There are many view of the area, including this shot looking back towards Highway 50. |
