Photos From A Day Of Work In Fremont County - April 2006
 |
For a few days I worked as a laborer
with Kent Naegele of HP Colorado Homes,
a custom home builder based in Buena Vista and Salida who also does a lot of work in Fremont County.
He had a roofing job in Canon City and I came along
to work with him for a few days. The adjacent photo
was a shot as we were heading east on Highway 50 near Coaldale. |
 |
This is a nice photo, isn't it? Well like the photo above, I merely
stuck my camera out the window as we were driving along. The mountain range is the northern Sangre
De Cristo Range from the part of western Fremont County that consists of the towns of Howard and Coaldale. |
 |
We replaced a roof on a "fixer upper" home in Canon City, and near
the end of the day, I snapped this shot of Kent working on the roof. Folks, I highly recommend Kent
if you're seeking a custom home builder or simply need a general contractor for your house project.
I know him personally, he is very experienced and knowledgable, and most importantly, he has integrity.
Again, his web site is: www.HPColoradoHomes.com. |

One dorky photo of me. I think I was smiling that big because I
knew the work day was soon coming to an end ... and I was tired! :p) |

Another photo that I am pretty sure was taken
between Coaldale and Howard. The terrain of much of the mountainous
parts of Fremont County has pinion forests with a desert-like tundra. |
